Bill Daughtridge Even though it was a dreary evening for our political campaign fundraiser out at the Rose Hill Convention Center - it was quite a success. We owe the success, in part, to your willingness to provide the canopy for our event. It also made a huge difference in the final preparations for the evening. The forecast predicted rain and we had already booked the facility and would not have been able to move the several hundred guests to another facility without incurring a significant debt. Again, I sincerely appreciate your willingness to leave the canopy an additional evening for us. Your kind donation made quite a difference in our event's success. |

D. Holt Rose Hill has been doing business with Down East Canopy for several years. I personally have done business with Down East Canopy for the past 2 years. When I first came to Rose Hill, Mr. Guthrie was with Rental Showcase. We did some of our rental with them and some with other companies. Martin has been very helpful to me on several occasions when I was in a bind. Since Martin started Down East Canopy, I have done all of my rental business with him. He has gone out of his way to accommodate Rose Hill. He is prompt on delivery and pickup. If I need something that he does not have he will go out of his way to find it for me. I think what really prompted me to give all my business to Martin was when we had an event and had rented a tent from his competitor, we needed an additional tent at the last minute and Martin was willing to come on short notice and put it up for me. The other company would not have done this. Martin gives superb service and it is a pleasure to work with him. I recommend him to all of my clients. |

I have enjoyed doing business with you because you do ALL that is important for your customer. First, your customer service is top notch. You always return phone calls in a timely manner. You always deliver everything on time. AND, most importantly, you always are upbeat and have a smile on your face. Second, you are always willing to work with your customer. There have been times when items that I needed for an event came up at the last minute and I knew who I could count on. There have also been times that I needed items that I could not find in Rocky Mount and I knew who would go out of their way to locate them. Your focus is to please your customer and you definitely do so. Last, I definitely appreciate all the times that Down East Canopy has made donations to The Chamber. For some events, you have allowed us to use tablecloths, tables, and chairs at no charge - not to mention withholding deposits on other items. These are some of the ways that you have contributed to help us out and it is nice to work with a company that gives back to their community. |
